In a surprising collaboration that defies conventional predictions, the game developer has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Uncovered

According to the formal statement, "A strange meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of prohibited practices and monstrous changes echo through the darkness." The narrative presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine group.

The adventure focuses on "bizarre tests and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Changes

The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Items and Additional Features

Players who finish the quest will receive an unique katana in addition to numerous artifacts secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
